Lars Passgård (14 February 1941 – 16 March 2003) was a Swedish actor and theatre director. He appeared in more than 30 films and television shows between 1961 and 2002. Biography Early life and education Passgård grew up in Smålandsstenar, a locality in Jönköping County. He acted in amateur theater in Smålandsstenar and, in 1959, began training at the Malmö City Theatre, which is now designated as the Malmö Theatre Academy and is a part of Lund University. Career After completing his studies, Malmö City Theatre became his main stage. Although, he also made guest appearances on theater stages in both Sweden and Denmark. In 1961, he made his theater debut in Malmö and his film debut in Ingmar Bergman's '' Through a Glass Darkly'', which, in part, won him roles in Bo Widerberg's 1963 feature debut '' Barnvagnen'' and the 1963 Hollywood film '' The Prize''. Mirko Ellis
Mirko Ellis (4 September 1923 – 11 September 2014) was a Swiss-Italian film, stage and television actor. Born Mirko Korcinsky in Locarno to a family of Lithuanian origin, Ellis moved, after his studies, to Italy, where he made his film debut in 1946, in a critically acclaimed role in Aldo Vergano's neorealist drama ''The Sun Still Rises''. One year later, he debuted on stage in the theatrical company of Maria Melato. He later alternated important roles and character roles, in genre films and television productions. Ellis was married to fellow actress Esther Maring, with whom he lived in Alghero, Sardinia. On 11 September 2014, Ellis fell from the balcony of his fourth-floor apartment and died. Jess Hahn
Jesse Beryle Hahn (October 29, 1921June 29, 1998) was an American- French character actor who mostly starred in French films. Biography After serving with the Marines in the Second World War, he moved to France in 1949 and took French citizenship. Firstly a musician, he became an actor and starred in film noirs and westerns. A large man, Hahn often appeared in " strong man" roles, such as in ''Cartouche'' and '' Topkapi''. Seen mostly as a character actor in French films, he played a rare leading role in Éric Rohmer's '' The Sign of Leo''. Hahn was employed by French movie-maker Jean-Marie Pallardy, becoming one of his recurrent actors, until his retirement. Hahn died at age 76 in Saint-Malo, France. Sergio Grieco
Sergio Grieco (13 January 1917 – 30 March 1982) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Biography Sergio's father was the Italian Communist Ruggero Grieco. Grieco first started in film in the Soviet Union in 1931, working as an assistant to Nikolai Ekk on the first Soviet sound film '' Road to Life''. He began his Italian film career as a script supervisor in 1939, working his way up to an assistant director the following year. In 1949 he worked as an assistant to René Clément on his film ''The Walls of Malapaga'' (1949). His directorial debut was ''Il sentiero dell'odio'' (1950), beginning a prolific career in a variety of genres. He met his wife Teresa Terrone (renamed Susan Terry by her agent), who appeared in several of his films, beginning with ''The Mysterious Swordsman''/''Lo spadaccino misterioso'' in 1955.
