The Full Irish
''The Full Irish'' was a radio breakfast show on RTÉ 2fm. It ran for three years from 2002 – 2005 and was on air from 7 – 9 am. Ryan Tubridy presented; Shane O'Donoghue read out the leading news in sport and Avril Hoare read out the news. The "holy moley mug" was the main prize given out in competitions. It was a lighthearted show which discussed random topics. (RTÉ) (; Irish for "Radio & Television of Ireland") is the national broadcaster of Ireland headquartered in Dublin. It both produces and broadcasts programmes on television, radio and online. Ryan Tubridy
Ryan Tubridy (born 28 May 1973), nicknamed 'Tubs ' is an Irish broadcaster. He presents ''The Ryan Tubridy Show'' and '' The Late Late Show''. Tubridy previously presented RTÉ 2fm breakfast radio show ''The Full Irish'', which at its end was the second most popular radio programme in Ireland. For five seasons from 2004 until 2009, he presented the Saturday night TV chat show ''Tubridy Tonight'' on RTÉ One. He later left RTÉ 2fm for a number of years to present ''The Tubridy Show'' on RTÉ Radio 1, but returned to RTÉ 2fm in 2010 to present a weekday morning radio show from 09:00 to 11:00, following the termination of '' The Gerry Ryan Show'' with the presenter's sudden death. Shane O'Donoghue (journalist)
Shane O'Donoghue is an Irish golf journalist who presents ''Living Golf'' on CNN. From Clonmel, County Tipperary, Shane worked for RTÉ as a presenter, DJ and read the news on 2fm's ''The Full Irish'' morning/breakfast show. Avril Hoare
Avril Hoare is a news presenter and reporter from Coolock in Dublin, Ireland. She has worked in the RTÉ Newsroom since 1999. She was a regular presenter of 2fm news and has been a reporter on RTÉ Radio 1's ''News at One''. In 2001, she became part of 2fm's ''The Full Irish'' team. The Rick & Ruth Breakfast Show
''Marty in the Morning'' is RTÉ lyric fm's breakfast show, presented by Marty Whelan. It originally aired as the title of RTÉ 2fm's breakfast show, presented also by Whelan from 26 September 2005 until it was axed when Colm & Jim-Jim joined from FM104. The duo held the 2fm breakfast slot with ''The Colm & Jim-Jim Breakfast Show'' until the death of Gerry Ryan prompted a further change in the schedules in 2010. ''Marty in the Morning'' was an attempt by 2fm to find a successor to Ryan Tubridy, who had left ''The Full Irish'' and defected to RTÉ Radio 1 in 2005.
