The Frog's Legacy
"The Frog's Legacy" is the sixth Christmas special episode of the BBC sitcom, ''Only Fools and Horses''. It was first broadcast on 25 December 1987. In the episode, the Trotters search for the hidden gold legacy of Freddie "The Frog" Robdal, an old friend of their mother's. Synopsis Del Boy, Rodney and Albert travel to Hampshire to attend the wedding of Trigger's niece, Lisa, who appeared in the episode "Tea for Three". Whilst there, Trigger's Aunt Reenie Turpin (Joan Sims) informs Del about a Peckham-based gentleman thief, Freddie "The Frog" Robdal, from the early 1960s. It is revealed that Del and Rodney's mother met Robdal and "befriended" him (a euphemism for Del's mother having had a brief sexual affair with him, as was revealed she had done many times with a number of men throughout the series' development) before Rodney was born and while she and her husband Reg were in the midst of an argument. Only Fools And Horses
''Only Fools and Horses....'' is a British television sitcom created and written by John Sullivan. Seven series were originally broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom from 1981 to 1991, with sixteen sporadic Christmas specials aired until the end of the show in 2003. Set in working-class Peckham in south-east London, it stars David Jason as ambitious market trader Derek "Del Boy" Trotter and Nicholas Lyndhurst as his younger brother Rodney Trotter, alongside a supporting cast. Kenneth MacDonald (English Actor)
Kenneth MacDonald (20 November 1950 – 6 August 2001) was an English actor who was best known for the parts of Gunner Nobby Clark in ''It Ain't Half Hot Mum'' and Mike Fisher in ''Only Fools and Horses''. Personal life MacDonald was born in Manchester, the son of Scottish heavyweight wrestling champion Bill MacDonald, who died of kidney failure at the age of 43 when Kenneth was 13. Boycie
Terrance Aubrey "Boycie" Boyce (born 31 January 1948) is a fictional character in the BBC sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses'', played by John Challis. His story is continued in the spin-off series ''The Green Green Grass'' in which Boycie and his family flee to the countryside to escape from the Driscoll Brothers. A younger Boycie also appears in the prequel series ''Rock & Chips''. Along with Denzil, he is one of only two characters to appear in all three. John Challis
John Spurley Challis (16 August 1942 – 19 September 2021) was an English actor. He had an extensive theatre and television career but is best known for portraying Terrance Aubrey "Boycie" Boyce in the long-running BBC Television sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses'' (1981–2003) and its sequel/spin-off ''The Green Green Grass'' (2005–2009), as well as Monty Staines from the seventh series onwards in the ITV sitcom '' Benidorm'' (2015–2018). Roger Anthony Lloyd-Pack (8 February 1944 – 16 January 2014) was an English actor. Frogman
A frogman is someone who is trained in scuba diving or swimming underwater in a tactical capacity that includes military, and in some European countries, police work. Such personnel are also known by the more formal names of combat diver, combatant diver, or combat swimmer.
