The Free Right (''La Droite libre'') is a liberal-conservative faction within the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP) founded by and Alexandre del Valle. The Free Right is formed mostly by members of Liberal Democracy, though Kaci was close the souverainiste Charles Pasqua at one time. Liberal Conservatism
Liberal conservatism is a political ideology combining conservative policies with liberal stances, especially on economic issues but also on social and ethical matters, representing a brand of political conservatism strongly influenced by liberalism. The 2008 United States presidential election was the 56th quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.
