The Fortune Code
''The Fortune Code'' () is a 1990 Hong Kong action film directed by Kent Cheng and starring Andy Lau, Sammo Hung, Anita Mui, Alan Tam, Max Mok, Michael Miu, Austin Wai, Eric Tsang, Frankie Chan, and Gordon Liu. Plot Set during the Japanese occupation of China, ''The Fortune Code'' tells the story of the occupants of a POW camp. When Wah Ying-hung (Andy Lau) manages to escape from the camp to meet up with his sweetheart, he learns that she is a spy. After being enrolled in the secret service he is sent back into the camp on a secret mission. His mission is to get the code to a Swiss bank account which will release funds to save China; the only person who knows the code is known as the God of Fortune and is held captive in the camp. Kent Cheng
Kent Cheng Jak-si (born 22 May 1951) is a Hong Kong film and television actor. He is a two time recipient of the best actor award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Jimmy Lung Fong (龍方) was a Hong Kong actor, film director, and action choreographer. Lung was best known to moviegoers for his frequent portrayal of villains in various Hong Kong films, most notably in films made by Wong Jing. Lung retired from the film industry, and died from lung cancer in 2008. Career Lung Fong was born Li Chien-Min. He started his career by playing small roles in porno's and martial arts films during the 1970s. In 1981, he left his acting career, after starring in a series of unsuccessful films. In 1989, director Wong Jing needed someone to play a villain in ''Casino Raiders''. While Wong had dinner at restaurant while Lung was the manager, he asked Lung for an audition. Playing the role turned out to be Lung's biggest career breakthrough, and he was nominated for a "Best New Performer" award at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Shing Fui-On
Shing Fui-On (成奎安; 1 February 1955 – 27 August 2009) was a Hong Kong actor, best known for his supporting roles in Hong Kong cinema. He had only one leading role in his entire career. Biography Shing Fui-On was the fourth of five siblings in a Hakka family. Due to family poverty, Shing had to drop out of school at the age of 13. Chen Kuan-tai (born 24 September 1945) is a martial artist and Hong Kong martial arts film star. Background A former fireman, he won a world's kungfu Championship in 1969. He has primarily appeared in Shaw Brothers productions, and was one of the first solid trained, martial arts stars employed by the company. Blackie Ko () (February 22, 1953 – December 9, 2003) was a Taiwanese film director, producer, stuntman, singer and actor. Blackie was considered to be the greatest automotive stunt choreographer in Asia. Personal life In 1956, his family moved to Taiwan during Battle of Dachen Archipelago. He married Sung Lai Wah and they have a son named Alan Ko, a daughter named Jennifer Ko, and another son named Jacky Ko.
