''The First Ten Years'' is a 2012 compilation album by Italian band Gabin. The album documents the changing vocalists with each album. Gabin (Italian Band)
Gabin () is an Italian pop band consisting of Massimo Bottini and Filippo Clary. Their name is a reference to the most popular French actor of the 1930s and 1940s – Jean Gabin. Releases Gabin have collaborated with numerous jazz artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Edwyn Collins and China Moses. Their first album, ''Gabin'' (2002), includes the singles "Doo Uap, Doo Uap, Doo Uap", "Sweet Sadness" and "La Maison". Their song "Bang Bang To The Rock'N'Roll" was used in the 2005 film '' Fantastic Four'' and in the 2008 film ''Sex Drive''. Mano Negra (band)
Mano Negra (complete Spanish name: ''La Mano Negra'', sometimes abbreviated to ''La Mano'' in France) was a French music group active from 1987 to 1994 and fronted by Manu Chao. The group was founded in Paris by Chao, his brother Antoine and their cousin Santiago, all born of Galician and Basque parents with partly Cuban roots. Their songs were mostly in Spanish, English and French, often switching from one language to the other in the same song or in the middle of a sentence or title (e.g. "Puta's Fever"). They also had a hit song in Arabic. They are considered pioneers of world fusion. Dee Dee Bridgewater (née Denise Garrett, May 27, 1950) is an American jazz singer and actress. She is a three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, as well as a Tony Award-winning stage actress. For 23 years, she was the host of National Public Radio's syndicated radio show ''JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater''. China Moses (born January 9, 1978, in Los Angeles) is an American singer and television host. Life and career Born in Los Angeles, California, China Moses is the daughter of jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater and director Gilbert Moses. She released her first single "Time" (1996) at the age of 18, along with her first video directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. This was followed by three albums: ''China'' (1997), ''On tourne en rond'' ("We Turn Around") (2000), and ''Good Lovin'' (2004). She worked on her albums with Swedish hip hop label Breaking Bread as well as artists such as DJ Mehdi, Diam's, Karriem Riggins, Guru, Anthony Marshall, and sound engineer Bob Power. Christopher John Cornell (né Boyle; July 20, 1964 – May 18, 2017) was an American singer and musician best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary lyricist and songwriter for the rock bands Soundgarden and Audioslave.
