''The First Scene'' is the debut extended play by South Korean singer Yuri. It was released on October 4, 2018 by SM Entertainment and distributed by IRIVER. The album debuted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart in its first week and also charted at number ten on ''Billboard''s World Albums chart. Kwon Yu-ri (; born December 5, 1989), better known by her mononym Yuri, is a South Korean singer, actress and songwriter. Girls' Generation-Oh!GG () is the second sub-unit of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, formed by SM Entertainment in 2018. ''Weekly Idol'' is a South Korean variety show that began in 2011 and currently airs Wednesdays at 7:30 PM KST on MBC M, and 12:00 AM KST on MBC Every1. It is one of the longest-running variety shows to air on satellite TV in Japan. The show was hosted during its first season by comedian Jeong Hyeong-don and rapper Defconn. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or ''ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century.
