Robert Theodor Camillo Dinesen (23 October 1874 – 8 March 1972) was a Danish film actor and director. He was first married to actress Laura Johanne Winter (1882-1930) and secondly to Christine Marie Christensen (1877-1935). He is buried with his third wife, German actress Margarete Schön, at the Friedhof Heerstraße cemetery in Berlin-Westend. Mary Nolan
Mary Nolan (born Mariam Imogene Robertson; December 18, 1902 – October 31, 1948) was an American stage and film actress, singer and dancer. She began her career as a Ziegfeld girl in the 1920s performing under the stage name Imogene "Bubbles" Wilson. She was fired from the ''Ziegfeld Follies'' in 1924 for her involvement in a tumultuous, highly publicized affair with comedian Frank Tinney. She left the United States shortly thereafter and began making films in Germany. She appeared in seventeen German films from 1925 to 1927 using the stage name Imogene Robertson. Upon returning to the United States in 1927, she attempted to break from her previous scandal-ridden past and adopted the stage name Mary Nolan. She was signed to Universal Pictures in 1928 where she found some success in films. By the 1930s, her acting career began to decline due to her drug abuse and reputation for being temperamental. Jenny Jugo (born Eugenie Walter; 14 June 1905 – 30 September 2001) was an Austrian actress. She appeared in more than fifty films between 1925 and 1950. Biography Jenny Jugo was born Eugenie Walter on 14 June 1905, the daughter of a factory owner. After being educated in a convent, she married the actor Emo Jugo and accompanied him to Berlin. Although the marriage was short-lived, she continued to use his surname throughout her career. Career Jugo was placed under contract by the German studio UFA in 1924, but struggled in early dramatic roles. Towards the end of the silent era, she fared much better in comedies and this trend continued into the 1930s. She became known for her portrayal of bouncy, assertive characters. Trude Berliner (28 February 1903 – 26 February 1977) was a German actress. She was one of many Jewish actors and actresses who were forced to flee Europe when the Nazis came to power in 1933. Biography Berliner was born Gertrude Berliner in Berlin, Germany. She became a famous cabaret performer in Berlin. In 1925, she appeared in her first movie, a silent film called '' Krieg im Frieden''. Berliner would wait four years before her second movie, but her film career would then take off. Rosa Valetti (25 January 1876, Berlin, Germany – 10 December 1937, Vienna, Austria), born Rosa Alice Vallentin, was a German actress, cabaret performer, and singer. Biography Rosa Valetti was born in Berlin, the daughter of industrialist Felix Vallentin and sister of actor Hermann Vallentin. She played her first roles in the theatres of suburban Berlin. Inspired by the November Revolution and her meeting with political satirist Kurt Tucholsky, Valetti began performing in cabarets. In 1920, she founded the ''Café Grössenwahn'' ("Café Megalomania"), which has been recognized as one of the most important literary and political cabarets in 1920s Berlin. Hans Heinrich von Twardowski (5 May 1898 – 19 November 1958) was a German film actor. Career in Germany Twardowski was born in Stettin, Germany (now Szczecin in Poland).
