The Final Chapter (Dungeon Album)
''The Final Chapter'' is the sixth and final album by Australian heavy metal band Dungeon. It was released in October 2006 by Modern Invasion Music. The group played its last live performance on 11 December 2005, however singer-guitarist Lord Tim and drummer Tim Yatras announced that they would record a final album under the name Dungeon. The Australian version also contains re-recorded versions of two very early Dungeon tracks, "Don't Leave Me" and "Changing Moods". Tim Yatras
Tim Yatras is an Australian musician, composer and producer, best known as one half of the now defunct black metal duo Austere, and the creator of the black metal/rock/trance act Germ. Biography Yatras was a member of Lord, and prior to that was also a part of Dungeon from February 2005 until their breakup, and appears on the 2006 release, '' The Final Chapter'', performing drums and backing vocals, and co-writing most of the tracks. He is also a session musician on the studio-based Newcastle band Ilium's albums, ''Vespertilion'', and ''Ageless Decay''. He toured as a member of Nazxul in 2004, and later performed Drums and Keyboards on the band's album, Iconoclast, in 2008. Tim also featured in a string of bands including Battalion, with whom he recorded the CD ''Into Harm's Way''. Yatras also performed drums and backing vocals on Simon Polhill's debut EP, ''Serial''. Andrew Dowling
Lord (sometimes stylized as LORD) is a heavy metal band from Wollongong, Australia. The group began as a solo project for "Lord Tim" Grose of Dungeon in 2003 and expanded into a complete band when Dungeon broke up in 2005. LORD has appeared with major acts that include Queensrÿche, Nightwish, Nevermore, Saxon and Gamma Ray. The band's name is usually stylised in all capital letters. History Between 1988 and 2000, Dungeon singer/guitarist and founding member "Lord Tim" Grose had collected a number of compositions he felt were either too personal to submit to the band or inappropriate for its style. Lord Tim (born 1970) is the professional name of Australian musician Tim Ian Grose. Based in Wollongong, New South Wales, he is best known as the founder of the heavy metal music, heavy metal band Dungeon (band), Dungeon. The band started in 1989, released several albums, and was considered one of the leading metal bands in Australia.
