The Festival (film)
''The Festival'' is a 2018 British comedy film directed by Iain Morris and co-written by Keith Akushie and Joe Parham. The film stars Joe Thomas, Hannah Tointon, Emma Rigby, Hammed Animashaun and Claudia O'Doherty. Plot Nick Taylor's girlfriend, Caitlin, breaks up with him on the day of their graduation from university, and he humiliates himself at the ceremony by begging her to take him back. Nick’s friend Shane Simpson persuades him to attend the Giant Music Festival to get over Caitlin, as they have already bought their tickets and Shane wants to meet DJ Hammerhead (who performs wearing a hammerhead shark mask). On the train they meet Amy, a talkative, exuberant and jocund Australian who has attended the festival for nine consecutive years. Iain Morris
Iain Kevan Morris (born 6 August 1973) is an English writer. He is best known for creating ''The Inbetweeners'' with his writing partner Damon Beesley and co-hosting a show on London radio station XFM with stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr. He featured in the "Iron" and "Music" episodes of cult spoof TV show ''Look Around You'', as well as on Jimmy Carr's second live DVD, as a panelist on a feature named ''Comedy Idol''. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Compton Martin
Compton Martin is a small village and civil parish within the Chew Valley in Somerset and in the Bath and North East Somerset unitary authority in England. The parish has a population of 508. It lies between Chew Valley Lake and Blagdon Lake, north of the Mendip Hills, approximately south of Bristol on the A368 road Weston-super-Mare to Bath, between Blagdon and West Harptree. Leeds Festival
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house.
