''The Fatal Feast'' (also referred to as "The Fatal Feast (Waste in Space)") is the fifth studio album by American crossover thrash band Municipal Waste. It was released on April 10, 2012 through Nuclear Blast. The album debuted at number 1 on the ''Billboard'' New Artist chart. The artwork was done by Justin Osbourn of Slasher Design. Municipal Waste (band)
Municipal Waste is an American crossover thrash band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 2001. To date, the band has released seven studio albums, three EPs and four splits. They have gone through a few line-up changes, leaving vocalist Tony Foresta and rhythm guitarist Ryan Waste as the only constant members. In addition to Foresta and Waste, their current lineup includes Philip "Land Phil" Hall on bass, Dave Witte on drums and Nick "Nikropolis" Poulos on lead guitar. History Municipal Waste was formed in Richmond, Virginia in 2000. Municipal Waste played their first show at a Richmond New Year's Eve Keg party in 2000–2001. The band was blamed for inciting a small riot. The band took musical influences from crossover thrash bands such as D.R.I., Suicidal Tendencies, ''Animosity''-era Corrosion of Conformity, Nuclear Assault and Attitude Adjustment. John Connelly (musician)
John Connelly (born July 28, 1962) is an American musician, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of New York City thrash metal band Nuclear Assault. Biography Connelly started as a roadie for thrash metal band Anthrax where he became a close friend of Anthrax bassist Danny Lilker. He formed the band Nuclear Assault in 1983, and Lilker, having left Anthrax, joined him soon after. In 1986, Connelly was a guest vocalist on ''Immaculate Deception'', the first album by New York hardcore band Ludichrist and again on a track called "Goodbye Freedom, Hello Mom" from the 1989 Scatterbrain album ''Here Comes Trouble''. Around 1991, Connelly saw fit to take a break from Nuclear Assault, and released a low profile solo record under the name John Connelly Theory, entitled ''Back to Basics''. Dave Witte
Dave Witte (born August 11, 1971) is an American drummer. He is known for his work in numerous extreme metal or hardcore punk bands including Municipal Waste, Melt-Banana, Discordance Axis, Black Army Jacket, Birds of Prey, Burnt by the Sun, and Deny the Cross among others. He has also played as a session drummer for many other acts. Early life Witte is a New Jersey native. He relocated to Richmond, Virginia to join Municipal Waste. He has been the drummer on numerous albums since 1990. He plays many styles of drumming while retaining heavy aspects of music in all his projects. Tony Foresta
Anthony Russell Foresta (born May 20, 1976) is an American vocalist who is the lead singer of crossover thrash bands Municipal Waste, Iron Reagan and (since 2022) the supergroup Heaven's Gate which he helped co-found with Cannibal Corpse drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz and who are in the process of recording new material. Foresta founded Municipal Waste in 2001 with Ryan Waste, Andy Harris, and Brendan Trache. In 2012, Foresta, along with Municipal Waste bandmate Phil Hall, Ryan Parrish, and Paul Burnette formed Iron Reagan. Roadrunner Records is an American record label focused on heavy metal and hard rock bands. Founded in the Netherlands in 1980, it is now a division of Warner Music Group and is based in New York City. History The label was launched in 1980 in the Netherlands.
