The Fame Game
''The Fame Game'' was a television programme broadcast in Ireland on RTÉ Two. It ran for four seasons from 2001 to 2005, and was presented by Caroline Morahan. She was selected to present the show from an open audition at the Royal Dublin Society in the reality TV series The Selection Box. After being presented with the contract to host ''The Fame Game'', Morahan had only two weeks to prepare for that role. The premise of the show was that starstruck celebrity-worshipping fans were sent, usually to exotic locations, to track down their idols. Caroline Morahan is an Irish actress and television host. In 2010, she was chosen as the face of Littlewoods Ireland. Early life Caroline Morahan graduated from Dublin City University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies, earning first class honors for her photographic thesis. ''The Selection Box'' was a talent search reality TV show produced by Adare Productions for RTÉ. It was developed along with the Commissioning Editor of RTE Entertainment Billy McGrath and directed by Brian Reddin and Brian Graham. It was broadcast on Network 2 (now RTÉ Two) in 2001. It was produced to find a new presenter for a new Network 2 show called '' The Fame Game''. Caroline Morahan was the eventual winner who went on to present ''The Fame Game'', while in 2007 the runner up, Karen Koster, began working on TV3's ''Xposé''. The Afternoon Show
''The Afternoon Show'' is Raidió Teilifís Éireann's former live flagship daytime show. It ran from 2004 until May 2010. The programme was dropped by RTÉ as part of its new season of television in 2010, to be replaced by two afternoon programmes '' Four Live'' presented by Maura Derrane and ''The Daily Show'' hosted by Dáithí Ó Sé and Claire Byrne.
