The Fall Of Rock And Roll
How Rock'n'Roll was Ruined ( sh, italic=yes, Kako je propao rokenrol, Како је пропао рокенрол) is a 1989 Serbian anthology comedy film. It consists of three stories, written and directed by three different screenwriters and directors. The score was also a joint effort, with lead musicians from rock bands Idoli, Električni Orgazam, and Disciplina Kičme each composing the music for one segment. The three independent stories are situated within the context of popular and youth culture in Yugoslavia at the time just before the country broke up, and abound with satirical, farcical, and absurdist humour. The film was awarded a Golden Arena for Best Film Editing at the Pula Film Festival in 1989. It attained cult status in the following years. Soundtrack The soundtrack for the film came out in 1989. Disciplin A Kitschme, originally known as Disciplina Kičme ( sr-Cyrl, Дисциплина Кичме, transl. ''Backbone Discipline''), was a Serbian and Yugoslav and, for a period of time, British rock band, formed in Belgrade in 1981. The band was noted for their unique and energetic sound, with bass guitar as the primary instrument and drawing inspiration from punk rock, funk, blues, jazz fusion, Motown, rap, the works of Jimi Hendrix, Yugoslav 1970s progressive and hard rock bands, and in the later phases of their career from jungle and drum and bass. Idoli ( sr-cyr, Идоли; trans. The Idols) were a Serbian new wave band from Belgrade. They are considered to be one of the most notable acts of the Yugoslav rock scene, and their 1982 album '' Odbrana i poslednji dani'' was on several occasions voted by the music critics as the greatest Yugoslav rock album.
