''The Fall Line'' is an American true crime podcast that covers lesser-known cases of murder and disappearance from minority communities in Georgia. As of January 2021, it is an independent podcast, after having been part of the Exactly Right Podcast Network for 2 years. The podcast has helped to publicize the disappearance of Dannette and Jeannette Millbrook, a cold case from Augusta, Georgia. History In 2017, Laurah Norton decided to make a podcast focusing on cases that had received little attention and had victims from underserved or marginalized communities. She first decided to focus on the Millbrook twins after hearing an episode of ''Thin Air'' discussing their case. Together with producer Brooke Gently-Hargrove, she launched ''The Fall Line'' on June 12, 2017. The podcast's name refers to the Atlantic Seaboard fall line in Georgia. Exactly Right Podcast Network is an American podcast network founded by Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff in 2018. It produces 16 podcasts including ''My Favorite Murder'' which Hardstark and Kilgariff have co-hosted since 2016. History The creation of the network was announced on August 15, 2018., and officially launched on November 28, 2018 with five podcasts: ''My Favorite Murder'', ''Do You Need A Ride?'', ''This Podcast Will Kill You'', ''The Purrrcast'', and ''The Fall Line''. The network signed a two-year deal with Stitcher in 2019, which ''The Wall Street Journal'' estimated to be worth $10 million. Disappearance Of Dannette And Jeannette Millbrook
The disappearance of Dannette Latonia Millbrook and Jeannette Latrice Millbrook is an unsolved missing persons case in which fraternal twins from Augusta, Georgia, disappeared on March 18, 1990 when they were 15 years old. Their surname is often misspelled as "Millbrooks" and Jeannette's middle name is often given as "Latressa" due to errors on police reports. The twins were last known to have been seen by a gas station clerk at the Pump-N-Shop gas station on the corner of 12th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 4:30 pm. Their case was closed in 1991 and was reopened in 2013. Disappearance On March 18, 1990, Dannette and Jeannette Millbrook walked to the local Christ Presbyterian Church on Laney Walker Boulevard. WJBF (channel 6) is a television station in Augusta, Georgia, United States, affiliated with ABC and owned by Nexstar Media Group. The station's studios are located in Television Park, near the Augusta Mall in Augusta, and its transmitter is located in Beech Island, South Carolina. History WJBF-TV began operations on November 23, 1953 as Augusta's first television station. Samuel Little
Samuel Little (born Samuel McDowell; June 7, 1940 – December 30, 2020) was an American serial killer who confessed to murdering 93 women between 1970 and 2005. In 2014 he was convicted of the murders of Linda Alford, Guadalupe Duarte Apodaca, and Audrey Nelson Everett, and in 2018 for the murder of Denise Christie Brothers as well as several others in 2019.
