''The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave'' is a 2000 comedy film starring the comedian Bob Einstein as Super Dave Osborne. Plot After the kind-hearted but clumsy Super Dave Osborne (Bob Einstein) survives a near-fatal accident, he discovers his manager has embezzled from him. This forces him into bankruptcy and causes him to lose his house. Super Dave decides to retire from stunt work, but ends up meeting a single mother named Sandy (Gia Carides). When Super Dave learns that Sandy's son, Timmy ( Carl Michael Lindner) needs an expensive heart surgery, Super Dave comes out of retirement to raise the money. In the process, he must face off against his arch-enemy, Gil Ruston (Dan Hedaya). Peter MacDonald (born 20 June 1939) is an English film director, cinematographer, and producer from London, England. A prolific second unit director, MacDonald has worked on various Hollywood blockbusters including ''Guardians of the Galaxy, The Bourne Ultimatum, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'', and ''The Empire Strikes Back.'' Michael Buffer (born November 2, 1944) is an American ring announcer (or " MC") for boxing, professional wrestling, and National Football League matches. Billy Barty (born William John Bertanzetti, October 25, 1924 – December 23, 2000) was an American actor and activist. In adult life, he stood tall, due to cartilage–hair hypoplasia dwarfism. Because of his short stature, he was often cast in films opposite taller performers for comic effect. He specialized in outspoken or wisecracking characters. During the 1950s, he became a television actor, appearing regularly in the Spike Jones ensemble. In the early 1970s he was a staple in a variety of roles in children's TV programs produced by Sid and Marty Krofft. Also an activist for people with dwarfism, he founded the Little People of America organization in 1957.
