Ada Tschechowa (russian: Ада Михайловна Чехова, 9 September 1916 – 28 January 1966) was a Russo-German actress and music manager. Life Ada Mikhailovna Chekhova was born to esteemed actors Olga Chekhova, Olga and Michael Chekhov on 9 September 1916 in Moscow, Russian Empire, Russia. In 1921, her family moved to Berlin, where she grew up. Hans Adalbert Schlettow (11 June 1888 – 30 April 1945) was a German film actor. Schlettow appeared in around a hundred and sixty films during his career, the majority during the silent era. Among his best-known film roles was ''Hagen von Tronje'' in Fritz Lang's film classic ''Die Nibelungen'' (1924). Adele Sandrock (; born Adele Feldern-Förster; 19 August 1863 – 30 August 1937) was a German-Dutch actress. After a successful theatrical career, she became one of the first German movie stars. Early life Sandrock was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, the daughter of the German merchant Eduard Sandrock (1834–1897) and his Dutch wife, Johanna Simonetta ten Hagen (1833–1917). Carl Esmond
Carl Esmond (born Karl Simon; June 14, 1902– December 4, 2004) was an Austrian-born American film and stage actor, born in Vienna, Austria-Hungary. Although his age was given as 33 in the passenger list when he arrived in the USA in January 1938, in his naturalization petition his birth year is stated as 1902. His stage names were Willy Eichberger and Charles Esmond and finally Carl Esmond. He trained at Vienna's State Academy of Dramatic Arts, and made his film debut in the operetta '' The Emperor's Waltz'' (1933). He was active in the Viennese genre of shallow romantic comedies so popular in the Austria of the interwar period.
