''The Elasmosaurus EP'' is a limited print Extended play, EP by Matt Costa. It was released in 2005 on Venerable Media. The EP comprises six songs that were recorded during the sessions for his debut album ''Songs We Sing'', but which were ultimately left off that album. Matt Costa
Matthew Albert Costa (born June 16, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter from Huntington Beach, California, United States. He has 13 independent releases: 7 self-recorded EPs, 6 complete LPs, 4 of which are released via Brushfire Records. His first album in five years, ''Santa Rosa Fangs'', was released on May 18, 2018, on Dangerbird Records. Life Matt Costa, who is of Portuguese descent, states that his father works in the airline business. In early 2003, Matt's homemade demo reached No Doubt guitarist Tom Dumont, who offered to record more demos for Costa in his home studio. Those first recordings led to two EPs (Matt Costa EP, Elasmosaurus EP) that Costa and Dumont distributed themselves. Pop Rock

Thomas Martin Dumont (born January 11, 1968) is an American guitarist and producer. Dumont is a member of third wave ska band No Doubt, and during the band's hiatus, he began Invincible Overlord as a side project and produced Matt Costa's ''Songs We Sing''. Phil Ek
Phil Ek is an American record producer, engineer and mixer. Ek began his career in Seattle, Washington in the early 1990s recording live sound in clubs. He then moved into studio recording, recording small projects and demos for local bands. Around this time, Ek was frequently working with influential producer Jack Endino. ''Songs We Sing'' is an album by singer/songwriter Matt Costa. It was originally released on July 26, 2005, and then re-released with a new track list by Brushfire Records on March 28, 2006. 2005 independent release ''Songs We Sing'' was originally released independently by Venerable Media in 2005 and offered a slightly different track list than the Brushfire Records version. This version of the album is currently unavailable. For a time it was available at CD Baby, but they have now permanently sold out. Elasmosaurus
''Elasmosaurus'' (;) is a genus of plesiosaur that lived in North America during the Campanian stage of the Late Cretaceous period, about 80.5million years ago. The first specimen was discovered in 1867 near Fort Wallace, Kansas, US, and was sent to the American paleontologist Edward Drinker Cope, who named it ''E.platyurus'' in 1868. The generic name means "thin-plate reptile", and the specific name means "flat-tailed". Cope originally reconstructed the skeleton of ''Elasmosaurus'' with the skull at the end of the tail, an error which was made light of by the paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh, and became part of their "Bone Wars" rivalry. Prehistoric Gardens
Prehistoric Gardens is a roadside attraction located on Oregon's Highway 101 Coastal Route. Founded in 1955 in Port Orford, the gardens feature 23 life-sized sculptures of dinosaurs set among the lush foliage of the area's temperate rainforest. The gardens are the work of amateur paleontologist E.V. "Ernie" Nelson; the site is run by Nelson's granddaughter. Description Prehistoric Gardens consists of 23 life-sized dinosaurs. The sculptures are created with a steel frame base and sculpted with mesh-like metal lath and concrete. The largest sculpture is an 86-foot-long brachiosaurus. Signs provide information about each of the dinosaurs represented, as well as plants indigenous to the area. While the sculptures are anatomically accurate, the paint colors were chosen to be fanciful and photogenic.
