The Eken
''The Eken'' is a 2022 Indian Bengali-language detective film directed by Joydip Mukherjee. The film is produced by Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. In the film, Anirban Chakraborty plays the titular role of Ekenbabu, a fictional detective character created by Sujan Dasgupta. The screenplay of the film is written by Padmanabha Dasgupta. Pohela Boishakh ( bn, পহেলা বৈশাখ) is the first day of the Bengali calendar which is also the official calendar of Bangladesh.
