''The Early Bird Show'' was an Australian children's television show that aired on Network Ten in Australia from 26 January 1985 until 10 June 1989. The show was so popular that a magazine about it was published in 1989. Format Produced by Dixie Duncan and directed by Spencer Wilson, Ray McKenna and Bob Loxton, the Early Bird Show was hosted by Australian rock singer Darryl Cotton Marie Van Maaren and Marty The Monster. ''The Early Bird Show'', an extremely popular family and children's variety show, was a live, five-hour production on air from 7am - 12pm every Saturday. Suzy Cato
Suzanne Noreen Cato (born 20 June 1968) is an Australian-born New Zealand children's entertainer. She is best known as the host of several New Zealand children's television programmes, most notably '' Suzy's World'' and '' You and Me''. Career Cato began her broadcasting career at the KCCFM radio station in Whangarei, before she moved to Auckland to begin her television career in 1990. Cato's first role on television was as a presenter of the New Zealand version of the popular children's television series '' The Early Bird Show'' with a puppet character named Russell Rooster. Dinosaucers
''Dinosaucers'' is a 1987 animated television series co-produced in the United States and Canada, produced by DIC Animation City and distributed in syndication in the US by Coca-Cola Telecommunications. The show was created by producer Michael E. Uslan, who considered it a "harebrained idea". A total of 65 episodes were made for the show's first-run syndication, but it only lasted one season. There were originally plans by Galoob to release a Dinosaucers toyline, and prototype figures were produced. The toyline were to include the characters Stego, Bronto-Thunder, Allo, Bonehead, Plesio, Quackpot, Ankylo, and Genghis Rex. However, the line was scrapped when the show was canceled after airing its initial 65 episode run due to low viewership and poor reception. ''It's Punky Brewster'' is a 1985–1986 animated spin-off of the live action television sitcom ''Punky Brewster''. It was animated by Ruby-Spears Productions.
