Giuliano Carnimeo
Giuliano Carnimeo (born Carmineo; 4 July 1932 – 10 September 2016) was an Italian director and screenwriter, sometimes credited as Anthony Ascott or Antony Ascot. Life and career Born in Bari, Carmineo started his career as assistant director for, among others, Giorgio Simonelli and Camillo Mastrocinque. He made his directorial debut as co-director, alongside George Sherman, of the international co-production ''Panic Button'', later focused on genre films, especially Spaghetti Westerns and commedie sexy all'italiana. He died in Rome on 10 September 2016. Franco Pesce
Franco Pesce (11 August 1890 – 6 December 1975) was an Italian actor and cinematographer. Life and career Franco Pesce was born in Naples. He was the son of the actor Ettore. At a young age Pesce studied lyric singing with the intention of becoming an opera singer. At 20 years old he abandoned his studies to enter the cinema industry as a film operator. Pesce moved to Rome with the advent of sound film where he became a cinematographer. Later in his life, beginning in 1940, he started a very productive career as a character actor. In his later years Pesce was mainly active in spaghetti western films. He was often credited under English pseudonyms, usually interpreting roles of petulant, pedantic and intriguing old men. Antonio Cantafora (born 2 February 1944), also known professionally as Michael Coby, is an Italian film and television actor. Life and career Born in Crotone (Calabria) Cantafora studied acting with Alessandro Fersen, then he made his film debut in 1967. Thanks to a vague resemblance to the actor Terence Hill, in the seventies he starred with Paul L. Smith in a brief series of successful action-comedy films that reprise the Bud Spencer-Terence Hill style.
