The Desire To Live
''The Desire to Live'' ( es, El deseo de vivir) is a 1973 Argentine romantic musical film directed by Julio Saraceni and starring Sandro and Elena Sedova. Plot Sandro plays Rolo Medina, a young athlete, who despite a life of luxury, pleasure and beautiful women, feels his life has no meaning. That feeling will change abruptly when he randomly meets Laura (Elena Sedova), who is the partner of a renowned physician, Dr. Mariano Fuentes (Juan José Miguez). The attraction between Rolo and Laura is immediate, and for the wealthy young athlete. seems to have given the desire to live. However, an unexpected event changes his life forever. Julio Saraceni
Julio Saraceni (October 10, 1912 – October 12, 1998) was a prolific Argentine film director whose career in the Cinema of Argentina as a movie director spanned six decades. He was an aviator as a young man, but later found a career in film, where he debuted as a director in a 1937 short film, ''Fórmula secreta'', in which he used his flying experience for the making of numerous scenes. He directed his first full-length title, Florencio Parravicini's comedy vehicle, ''Noches de carnaval'', later that year. Saraceni married a member of the crew, Argentina Mori, and with her made some 60 films between 1938 and 1986, such as ''María Celeste'' (1944), '' Alma de bohemio'' (1949), ''La barra de la esquina'' (1950), and ''La mejor del colegio'' (1953). Adriana Beatriz Aguirre (born 16 December 1951) is an Argentine actress and vedette. She performed in several Argentine films and in more than 80 plays. Biography Adriana Beatriz Aguirre was born in Santo Tomé, Santa Fe, on 16 December 1951. She studied theatre in the late 1960s. Aguirre began working as a theatre actress in the early 1970s. In 1972, she made her cinema debut at the age of 21, in the film ''La sonrisa de mamá'', where she had a supporting role. It was not until the 1976 film, ''Don Carmelo Il Capo'', that she played a leading role, Lulu. During that decade, she made most of her films, which were generally in the comic genre.
