''The Dangerous Game'' (Norwegian: ''Den farlige leken'') is a 1942 Norwegian comedy film directed by Tancred Ibsen, starring Lauritz Falk, Nanna Stenersen and Per Aabel. Tancred Ibsen
Tancred Ibsen (11 July 1893 – 4 December 1978) was a Norwegian military officer, aviator, film director and screenwriter. Background Ibsen was the son of Sigurd Ibsen and Bergljot Bjørnson. He was the grandson of both Henrik Ibsen and Nobel laureate Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He married dancer and actress Lillebil Ibsen in 1919, and remained married to her until his death in 1978. His son Tancred Ibsen, Jr. (1921–2015) was a Norwegian diplomat. Aviation career In 1917, Tancred Ibsen started pilot training at Kjeller Airport and began his career in the Norwegian Army Air Service. He started the first civilian active airplane company, ''A/S Aero'' in 1920, financed by his uncle, businessman Einar Bjørnson, and two shipowners. The company successfully operated demonstration, advertising, and limited mail flights with Ibsen as the head pilot. Alex Brinchmann
Alexander Brinchmann (15 June 1888 – 18 April 1978) was a Norwegian pediatrician. He was also a songwriter, novelist, playwright and crime fiction writer. He chaired the Norwegian Pediatric Society from 1933 to 1934 and the Norwegian Authors' Union from 1941 to 1945. Personal life Brinchmann was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. He was the son of rector Jacob Ludvig Hoffmann Brinchmann and Henny Leth. He was married in 1914 to Nina Grønvold (1891–1924), to Johanne Ringberg from 1925, and to Gunvor Næss (1897–1974) from 1944. He was the father of film producer and theatre director Arild Brinchmann. Medical career Brinchmann finished his secondary education in 1906. He then studied medicine, graduating as cand.med. in 1912. From 1913 to 1914 he specialized in pediatrics at the Charité Hospital in Berlin. Lauritz Falk (15 November 1909 – 1 February 1990) was a Swedish-Norwegian actor, film director, singer and painter. He appeared in about 60 roles in films and TV between 1923 and 1989. He is the cousin of the Swedish artist Bertram Schmiterlöw. He was married to actress Vibeke Mowinckel 1937–1950. From 1955 until his death he was married to the singer Birgit Lennartsson. Nanna Stenersen
Inga Kristine "Nanna" Stenersen (January 26, 1914 – June 22, 1977) was a Norwegian actress. Stenersen was born in Oslo, the daughter of the artillery captain Fredrik Christian Krohg Stenersen (1877–1965) and Regine née Johansen (1878–?). She debuted in 1933 at the Carl Johan Theater (''Carl Johan Teatret'') and later worked for the Central Theater and Oslo New Theater. Stenersen performed in revues, comedies, and operettas. She also appeared as a wise judge of human character in more serious roles, but she is best remembered for her appearances in Norwegian films. She died in Oslo in 1977. Eva Wenche Steenfeldt Stang (5 December 1917 – 28 March 2011), better known as Wenche Foss (), was a leading Norwegian actress of stage, screen and television. A comedy film is a category of film which emphasizes humor. These films are designed to make the audience laugh through amusement.
