The Crime Hunters
''The Crime Hunters'' (心网追凶) is a Singaporean Chinese crime drama which was broadcast in 2004. Unlike earlier crime dramas produced by MediaCorp, this series was focused more on forensic investigators rather than police officers. Synopsis Bai Ce is an experienced CID officer who is well known for his eccentricity and brilliance and his team consists of CNA and "Uncle Wang". Much to their surprise, rookie officer Lan Tinghui, a recent university law graduate who changed careers, is assigned as their superior. His appointment is met with scepticism from the team and causes some friction. Together with criminal psychologist Fang Jiesi, they tackle five difficult cases. A nurse Pan Yu'e was found murdered in her HDB flat. Evidence points to one of Bai Ce's former suspects from three years ago, a dangerous murderer who went by the nickname "Crazy Wolf". Edmund Tay Kok Peng (born 27 May 1964), also known as Zheng Geping, is a Singaporean actor and executive producer managed under The Celebrity Agency. He works on the Chinese-language Channel 8. Phua Leng Leng (born 25 June 1970), better known as Pan Lingling, is a Singaporean actress. Li Wenhai (, born ) is a veteran Singaporean actor. He has acted in various Singaporean television dramas. Career In 1981, Li joined Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC). In August 1991, after filming ''Jealousy Potion 100'', Li applied to have an early termination to his acting contract with SBC and to transfer to the voice dubbing department. After eight months, in April 1992, he resigned from SBC. After leaving SBC, Li opened a shop with friends selling Buddhist equipment at Balestier Shopping Center.
