The Crash Reel
''The Crash Reel'' is a documentary film directed by Lucy Walker which premiered as the Opening Night Gala film on 19 January 2013 at the Sundance Film Festival. Through 20 years of sports and verite footage, ''The Crash Reel'' chronicles the rivalry between Kevin Pearce and Shaun White which culminates in Kevin's life-changing crash and later comeback. The film also showcases the Pearce family, including Kevin's father glass-blower Simon Pearce and Kevin's brother David C. Pearce who describes his struggle to accept his Down syndrome. The film also premiered at the X Games The X Games are an annual extreme sports event organized, produced and broadcast by ESPN. Coverage is also shown on ESPN's sister network, ABC. Lucy Walker is an English film director. She has directed the documentaries '' Devil's Playground'' (2002), ''Blindsight'' (2006), '' Waste Land'' (2010), ''Countdown to Zero'' (2010), and '' The Crash Reel'' (2013). She has also directed the short films '' The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom'' (2011) and '' The Lion's Mouth Opens'' (2014). Underworld are a British electronic music group formed in 1987 in Cardiff, Wales and the principal collaborative project of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith. Jon DeRosa (born December 21, 1978) is an American musician and singer-songwriter. He has been involved with several critically acclaimed acts, including Dead Leaves Rising, Pale Horse and Rider, and as well as his solo-project known as Aarktica. His most recent solo album ''Black Halo'' was released on May 25, 2015, on Rocket Girl Records. Ben Howard
Benjamin John Howard (born 24 April 1987) is an English singer-songwriter, musician and composer. His self-released debut EP ''Games in the Dark'' (2008) was followed by two more EPs, '' These Waters'' (2009) and '' Old Pine'' (2010). Signed to Island Records, his debut studio album came in 2011 titled ''Every Kingdom''. Spiritualized (stylised as Spiritualized®) are an English rock band formed in 1990 in Rugby, Warwickshire, by Jason Pierce (often known as J. Spaceman), formerly of Spacemen 3. José Gabriel González (born 31 July 1978) is a Swedish indie folk singer-songwriter and guitarist from Gothenburg. González is also a member of the band Junip, along with Tobias Winterkorn. Early life and education The González family – made up of González's father, a National University of San Luis psychology student, González's mother, a fellow student studying biochemistry, both of whom were politically active, and González's older sister, then an infant – fled Argentina after the military coup d'état in March 1976, at the start of the "Dirty War". Escaping to Brazil, they were granted asylum by the Swedish consulate in Rio de Janeiro, and relocated to Gothenburg in 1977. José was born a year later, in the Haga district of Gothenburg. "Ekki múkk" is the second track on Sigur Rós' sixth studio album, ''Valtari''. It premiered on the official website as well as an accompanying video on March 26, 2012.
