The Crash Cruiserweight Championship ( es, Campeonato de Peso Crucero de The Crash) is a professional wrestling championship contested for in the Mexican lucha libre promotion The Crash Lucha Libre based in Tijuana, Baja California. Traditionally most ''lucha libre'' promotions promote a division labelled as the "Junior Heavyweight" division, while "Cruiserweight" is a term more used in the United States or Canada but The Crash uses the term "Cruiserweight". The official definition of the Cruiserweight class in Mexico is between and , but is not always strictly enforced. As it was a professional wrestling championship, the championship was not won not by actual competition, but by a scripted ending to a match determined by the bookers and match makers. The Crash Lucha Libre, also referred to as simply The Crash, is a ''lucha libre'' (Mexican professional wrestling) promotion based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The promotion largely runs its events in Tijuana, Mexico City, and Monterrey. The promotion currently has working relationships with American promotions DEFY Wrestling, PCW ULTRA, and International Wrestling Revolution Group and Promociones MDA, China's Oriental Wrestling Entertainment. Jonathan Gresham (born March 20, 1988) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to Impact Wrestling. Bandido (born April 17, 1995) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' ( masked professional wrestler) who is primarily known for his work in the promotions Lucha Libre Elite (LLE), The Crash Lucha Libre and Dragon Gate (DG). José Cordero (born May 11, 1987) is an American professional wrestler of Puerto Rican descent currently signed to Major League Wrestling, where he competes under the ring name Lince Dorado (Spanish for Golden Lynx), and is the current MLW Middleweight Champion, in his first reign. Laredo Kid (born December 30, 1986) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. He is currently signed to both Impact Wrestling and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, but is currently inactive due to abdominal surgery.
