Throughout their career, The Cranberries recorded several radio and television sessions in the form of recording studio sessions, live studio sessions, and live audience sessions. Recording Studio Sessions The Dave Fanning Sessions The Dave Fanning Sessions consist of recording studio sessions made available to young aspiring bands and artists. The Cranberries
The Cranberries were an Irish rock band formed in Limerick, Ireland. Originally named the Cranberry Saw Us, the band were formed in 1989 by lead singer Niall Quinn, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler. Quinn was replaced as lead singer by Dolores O'Riordan in 1990 and they changed their name to the Cranberries. The band classified themselves as an alternative rock group, but incorporated aspects of indie rock, jangle pop, folk rock, post-punk and pop rock into their sound. The Cranberries rose to international fame in the 1990s with their debut album, ''Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?'', which became a commercial success. ''To the Faithful Departed'' is the third studio album by Irish alternative rock band the Cranberries, released on 30 April 1996. The album was made in memory of Denny Cordell who signed the band to Island Records and Joe O'Riordan (vocalist Dolores O'Riordan's grandfather), who had both died that year. The album reached number one in four countries and became the band's highest-charting album on the US ''Billboard'' 200, where it peaked at number four. "When You're Gone" is a song by Irish band the Cranberries. It is the third single from their third studio album, ''To the Faithful Departed'' (1996). The music video was directed by Karen Bellone and was released at the end of 1996. The song was first played during the North American leg of the No Need to Argue Tour in late 1994. Upon its release, the song peaked at number four in Norway, earning a platinum disc there, and reached number 15 in Canada. It additionally peaked within the top 30 in France, Iceland, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United States.
