Mario Bonnard
Mario Bonnard (24 December 1889 – 22 March 1965) was an Italian actor and film director. Bonnard was born and died in Rome. He began his cinematic career as an actor becoming a popular romantic lead in numerous silent films made before World War I. In 1917 he ventured into film directing for the first time. Before the arrival of sound films he worked for a period in Germany in films directed by Luis Trenker. Back in Italy in 1932, he became a prolific director working with the major stars of the time as: Assia Noris, Elsa Merlini, Amedeo Nazzari, Luisa Ferida, Henry Viarisio. ''Il feroce Saladino'' (1937) was the most popular of his films of the 1930s. During the war he continued to work. Febo Mari
Febo Mari (1884–1939) was an Italian actor and film director. He found success as a leading man during Italy's silent film era. Early life Febo Mari was born Alfredo Giovanni Leopoldo Rodriguez in Messina, Sicily. His family were wealthy and of Iberian descent. He graduated from Peloritana University, having studied literature and philosophy, and soon began acting in theatre. By age 27 he was managing the Manzoni Theater in Milan. He entered the silent film industry in the early 1910's. His first feature length film was ''La ribalta'' (1912), directed by prolific Mario Caserini. The first film Mari acted in and scripted was ''Il fuoco'' (1915). Tina Lattanzi (born Annunziata Concetta Costantini; 5 December 1897 – 25 October 1997) was an Italian actress and voice actress. Biography A native of Licenza and the daughter of Ercole Costantini and Geltrude Montori, Lattanzi began her acting career in 1922 when she met Vittorio De Sica, who in turn, introduced her to Tatyana Pavlova, who coached her into acting. Lattanzi was mainly active on stage during the 1920s before making her screen debut in 1930 and she was well known for her portrayals of women of noble birth. In 1954, Lattanzi began focusing her attention on television. Because of her drawl, persuasive voice, she also turned to the Cooperativa Doppiatori Cinematografici during the 1940s.
