The Cliff (Emory)
The Cliff is the shuttle system of Emory University's main Druid Hills campus in Atlanta. The Cliff is the largest public transportation system in Atlanta other than MARTA. It consists of a fleet of 40 buses, all electric, compressed natural gas, or biofuel. 100% of the fleet is powered by biodiesel created from recycled cooking oil from the school's cafeteria. Buses operate 24 hours a day . The 40 bus fleet consists of buses 201–239 and ParaTransit bus. Buses 201–210 are large buses, Buses 211–233 are medium buses, and 234–239 and the paratransit bus are small buses. As of 2008, average ridership was 200,000 trips per month; daily ridership averaged 2,300 for its park-n-ride routes. In 2010, the annual ridership was 2,593,851. Druid Hills
Druid Hills is a community which includes both a census-designated place (CDP) in unincorporated DeKalb County, Georgia, United States, as well as a neighborhood of the city of Atlanta. The CDP's population was 14,568 at the 2010 census. North DeKalb Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in unincorporated DeKalb County, near Decatur, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Opened in 1965, the center currently comprises more than eighty-five stores on one level. Anchor stores include Burlington Coat Factory and Marshalls, the mall also features a food court and multiplex movie theater. South DeKalb Mall
The Gallery at South DeKalb, formerly South DeKalb Mall, is a shopping mall owned by Thor Equities. The mall is located at the intersection of Candler Road and Interstate 20 in the Panthersville CDP of DeKalb County, Georgia. History The mall opened in 1968 with anchors Rich's and JCPenney. This mall also faced competition from the beginning with several other malls in DeKalb County, mainly Northlake Mall. The Rich's also had an automotive center similar to most Sears of the time.
