''The Christmas Album'' is Roberta Flack's first holiday album and was released in 1997. The song, "As Long as There's Christmas" (a duet with Peabo Bryson), was from the direct-to-video Disney film, '' Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas''. The album was reissued by Punahele Productions under the title ''Holiday'' in 2003; this version omitted "As Long as There's Christmas". Roberta Cleopatra Flack (born February 10, 1937) is a retired American singer. She topped the Billboard Magazine, ''Billboard'' charts with the No. 1 singles "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face", "Killing Me Softly with His Song", "Feel Like Makin' Love (Roberta Flack song), Feel Like Makin' Love", "Where Is the Love (Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway song), Where Is the Love" and "The Closer I Get to You", the latter two duets with Donny Hathaway. Flack is also noted for her influence on the subgenre of contemporary R&B called quiet storm, along with her interpretations of songs by various songwriters, such as Leonard Cohen and members of the Beatles. Matt Rollings is a Grammy Award-winning American composer, keyboard player and record producer. Known mainly for playing in Lyle Lovett's Large Band, Rollings has worked with many artists, not all country.
