The Case Of Unfaithful Klara (film)
''The Case of Unfaithful Klara'' ( it, Il caso dell'infedele Klara, cz, Případ nevěrné Kláry) is a 2009 Italian-Czech romance-drama film directed by Roberto Faenza. It is loosely based on the novel with the same name by Michal Viewegh. Luca, an Italian musician who lives in Prague as a music teacher at an elementary school, is in the grip of uncontrollable jealousy for his girlfriend Klara, an art history student about to graduate. Suspicious of the ambiguous relationship that the girl has with Pavel, her tutor at the university, Luca assigns a detective, Denis, to control her. After the first stalking, carried out with the help of sophisticated technologies, the detective decides to hide some evidence that he considers unimportant, almost as if he wants to protect his client from tormenting himself by unnecessary and unfounded suspicions. Roberto Faenza (born 21 February 1943) is an Italian film director. Born in Turin in 1943, Faenza received a degree in Political Science and a diploma at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Career Faenza made his directing debut in 1968 with the international success, ''Escalation (1968 Italian film), Escalation'', a film that describes the different sides of power through the relationship between a middle-class father and his hippie son. Immediately after that he directed ''H2S'', an angry apology of the 1968 movement, seized two days after its release and not distributed since.
