The Callous Heart
''The Callous Heart'' is the second extended play (EP) by English rock band Creeper. Recorded in early 2015 at the Ranch Production House in Southampton with producer Neil Kennedy, it was originally released in the UK on 18 September 2015 as the band's first release on Roadrunner Records. The EP was later issued internationally on 15 January 2016. ''The Callous Heart'' spawned Creeper's first two singles, "Lie Awake" and "The Honeymoon Suite", as well as a music video for "Allergies". Written by the band's lead vocalist Will Gould and guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, ''the Callous Heart'' was Creeper's first release since signing with major label Roadrunner in June 2015. The EP was launched on 15 September with a special show at the Old Blue Last in London, and promoted on the UK Warped Tour later in the year. Creeper (band)
Creeper are an English rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2014, the group originally featured vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott, and drummer Dan Bratton. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, before signing with Roadrunner Records and issuing follow-up '' The Callous Heart'' the next year. At the end of 2015, Nemati was replaced by Oliver Burdett and touring keyboardist/second vocalist Hannah Greenwood became an official band member. A third EP, '' The Stranger'', was released in 2016 and reached the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart top ten. The group's full-length debut album '' Eternity, in Your Arms'' reached number 18 on the UK Albums Chart in 2017. Hardcore Punk
Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Its roots can be traced to earlier punk scenes in San Francisco and Punk rock in California, Southern California which arose as a reaction against the still predominant History of the hippie movement, hippie cultural climate of the time. Tiger Army
Tiger Army is an American psychobilly band based in Los Angeles, California. The group was formed in 1996 in Berkeley, California, and its only constant member is singer, guitarist, and lead songwriter Nick 13. The band has released six studio albums and four EPs. History Tiger Army played their first show at the famous 924 Gilman Street venue in Berkeley, California, on March 29, 1996. The band's sound drew from early punk, rock n' roll and rockabilly, as well as dark English pop. Brand New was an American rock band from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2000, the band consisted of Jesse Lacey (vocals, guitar), Vincent Accardi (guitar, vocals), Garrett Tierney (bass guitar, vocals) and Brian Lane (drums, percussion); they were joined by Benjamin Homola (percussion) for their live performances. Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Since 2001, the band has consisted of Matt Skiba (vocals, guitar), Dan Andriano (vocals, bass) and Derek Grant (drums, vocals). The ''Southern Daily Echo'', more commonly known as the ''Daily Echo'' or simply ''The Echo'', is a regional tabloid newspaper based in Southampton, covering the county of Hampshire in the United Kingdom.
