Breakfast television (Europe, Canada, and Australia) or morning show (United States) is a type of news or infotainment television programme that broadcasts live in the morning (typically scheduled between 5:00 and 10:00a.m., or if it is a local programme, as early as 4:00a.m.). Often presented by a small team of hosts, these programmes are typically marketed towards the combined demography of people getting ready for work and school and stay-at-home adults and parents. Mel Homer
Melanie 'Mel' Homer (born is a New Zealand radio presenter and television presenter. She was previously the host the New Zealand Radio show, ''Sunday Cafe'' that aired on Today FM. She previously hosted Three's morning show '' The Café'' with Mike Puru and Carly Flynn from 2016 until 2020. She also previously presented the morning radio show on Mix 98.2. Homer began her career as a producer for ''Breakfast Radio'' at Classic Hits (now known as The Hits) in the late 1990s. Homer has also previously worked in Hong Kong at Radio Television Hong Kong (RTKH) from 1998 to 2004. In 2023 Homer appeared on ''Celebrity Treasure Island''. Career Radio Homer has previously been the morning radio host for New Zealand's Mix98. Before this, she previously worked for The Hits, Newstalk ZB and Radio Hauraki And Magic Talk. Carly Flynn
Carly Flynn (''née'' Kirkwood) is a New Zealand journalist and television personality. Personal life Born and raised in Taupō, New Zealand, where both of her parents were English teachers at Tauhara College, Flynn is the eldest of the three siblings. She completed a Bachelor of MediArts majoring in journalism from Waikato Polytech (now WINTEC) and a Diploma in Journalism from the Journalists Training Organisation. She married cameraman Dave Flynn on Sunday, 22 October 2006. In February 2010, she was asked by Sunrise co-host Oliver Driver to announce that she is expecting her first child. Three ( mi, Toru), stylized as +HR=E, is a New Zealand nationwide television channel. Launched on 26 November 1989 as TV3, it was New Zealand's first private broadcasting, privately owned television channel. Mike Puru (born 20 August 1975) is a New Zealand TV host and former radio DJ. While previously working at radio station The Edge from 1995 until 2015, Puru then hosted the first two seasons of ''The Bachelor New Zealand'' on Three.
