The Building Blocks Of Life
''The Building Blocks of Life'' (Traditional Chinese: 建築有情天) is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in December 2007. The plot revolves around an architecture theme. Synopsis Isaac ( Alex Fong), a rising architect in a construction company, is about to engage with his lover Winnie (Christine Ng). Right before they marry, Isaac unknowingly falls in love with a fellow architect employee named Freeda (Tavia Yeung), spending time with her despite remaining loyal to Winnie. Consequently, Winnie becomes angry at Freeda for interrupting their marriage and relationship. She becomes paranoid, suspecting Isaac of all types of cheating and wrongdoings. Soon Isaac's architectural job would be disturbed by all the unnecessary trauma and chaos caused by his anxiety-stricken future wife. Another rising architect named Brian ( Power Chan) would try to move up in the company. Isaac, however, remains one of the top men and the company favorite. Alex Fong Chung-Sun
Alex Fong Chung-sun (; born 17 March 1963) is a Hong Kong actor. He married actress Hoyan Mok in 2008; they have one daughter. Incidents Fong has been a brand representative of DOXA, a brand of watches since 2008. In the opening ceremony of DOXA's flagship store in Guangzhou, Fong was sexually harassed by another female guest of the event. DOXA issued an open declaration stating Fong's under-performing had harmed the image of the brand, and therefore they terminated the arrangement. Anne Heung Hoi-lam (born 2 October 1974) is a Hong Kong-born Canadian actress and model, formerly under contract to the television station TVB. She left TVB in 2008 for new business ventures but returned to media work in 2015. Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong SAR. The Company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. Evergreen Mak Cheung-ching (, born 18 December 1968), better known as Makbau (麥包), is a Hong Kong actor. He had been an actor with TVB for more than 30 years. Early life Mak was born in Shunde District, Foshan, China, and his ancestral hometown is Qingyuan, Guangdong province. Christine Ng Wing-mei (; born 24 February 1969) is an actress and singer based on Hong Kong. She was under contract to Hong Kong's TVB and ATV. She is known for her roles in TVB's dramas including '' C.I.B. Files'' and ''The Silver Chamber of Sorrows''. Career Ng competed in the 1989 Miss Asia Pageant and won Miss Photogenic, finishing as third runner-up. In December 1990, at age 21, Ng married her first husband Yung Kwong Pui (翁江培) who was 30 years older. Only 13 days into their marriage, Yung died of a heart attack.
