Wind is the natural movement of air or other gases relative to a planet's surface. Winds occur on a range of scales, from thunderstorm flows lasting tens of minutes, to local breezes generated by heating of land surfaces and lasting a few hours, to global winds resulting from the difference in absorption of solar energy between the climate zones on Earth. Ernest Clarence Breeze (8 May 1910 – 2 December 1984) was an English footballer who played at left-back for Port Vale and Shrewsbury Town in the 1930s. Career Breeze joined Port Vale in August 1932. He made his debut in January 1934, and played three further Second Division games in the 1933–34 season. He was a first team favourite from November 1934, taking over from Jim Kelso, and ended the 1934–35 season with 26 league and cup appearances. Matthew Clement (born January 19, 1988) is a Canadian professional wrestler and professional wrestling trainer. He is currently signed to WWE under the ring name Tyler Breeze as a trainer at the WWE Performance Center. From 2010 to 2012, he performed under the name Mike Dalton in WWE's developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Samuel Breeze (1772–1812) was a Welsh Baptist minister. He grew up in the Llandinam area. He began his career as schoolmaster of Dolau School, Radnorshire, but left in 1794 to take charge of Penrhyncoch School, near Aberystwyth. In 1795 he also began to preach. Roger Breeze
Roger Gerrard Breeze (10 October 1946 – 14 June 2016) was an English veterinary scientist who was an expert on bio-terrorism, and a critic of mass culling to combat foot and mouth disease in animals. Breeze graduated from Manchester Grammar School then went to the University of Glasgow (1964–1973), where he received his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and a PhD in Veterinary Pathology. He remained at the University as a lecturer from 1968 until 1977. He subsequently moved to Washington State University, where he was professor and chair of the Department of Microbiology and Pathology from 1977 to 1987, then Deputy Director at the University of Washington Technology Center from 1984 to 1987. Michaela Breeze
Michaela Alica Breeze (born 17 May 1979) is a British former weightlifter. Breeze was born in Watford and raised in Cornwall and educated at Wadebridge School. She started weightlifting under the guidance of PE teacher Dave Allen. Breeze then went on to Bodmin Community College before attending the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. Breeze is well known for commentating at various events including Rio Olympics and Tokyo Olympics. After nearly eighteen months of starting weightlifting she was put in touch with a new coach, Ken Price. Maddie Breeze is a British sociologist, and lecturer and Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Strathclyde. In 2016 she won the Philip Abrams Memorial Prize of the British Sociological Association for her book ''Seriousness in Women’s Roller Derby: Gender, Organization, and Ambivalence''. The book is an ethnographic study of a women's roller derby league in Edinburgh, UK. The book is a published version of her PhD thesis, which she completed at the University of Edinburgh in 2014. Lynn Breeze is a British illustrator and author who specialises in books for babies and toddlers. She has illustrated more than 100 books, and has also written many stories. Joe Breeze (born 1953) is an American bicycle framebuilder, designer and advocate from Marin County, California. An early participant in the sport of mountain biking, Breeze, along with other pioneers including Gary Fisher, Charlie Kelly, and Tom Ritchey, is known for his central role in developing the mountain bike. Breeze is credited with designing and building the first all-new mountain bikes, which riders colloquially called Breezers. He built the prototype, known as Breezer #1, in 1977 and completed nine more Series I Breezers by early 1978. Breezer #1 is now in the collection of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History. Breeze, a road bike racer through the 1970s, was among the fastest downhill racers at Repack, mountain biking's seminal race held west of Fairfax, California. He won 10 of the 24 Repack races, which took place between 1976 and 1984. Breeze is a charter member of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame; he was inducted in 1988.
