Wendell Phillips Smalley (August 7, 1865 – May 2, 1939) was an American silent film director and actor. Biography Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the grandson of Wendell Phillips; he was the son of George Washburn Smalley, a war correspondent, and his wife Phoebe Garnaut, adopted by Phillips. He matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford in 1886. Smalley began his career in vaudeville and acted in more than 200 films between 1910 and his death in 1939. James F. Neill (September 29, 1860 – March 16, 1931) was an American stage actor and film actor of the silent era. He appeared in more than 110 films between 1913 and 1930. Biography Graduated from the University of Georgia in 1882, James Neill immediately embarked on a theatrical career which spanned nearly fifty years with stage appearances in every state in the Union, the territories (including Hawaii), and the provinces of Canada, in addition to film appearances in the studios of many of the major early Hollywood producers. Richard Tucker (June 4, 1884 – December 5, 1942) was an American actor. Tucker was born in Brooklyn, New York. Appearing in more than 260 films between 1911 and 1940, he was the first official member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and a founding member of SAG's Board of Directors.
