The Body ("Un corpo") is a short story by Camillo Boito. It is a psychological study of two obsessive men, an artist and an anatomist who lust after the beauty of Charlotte, the former's mistress. Eventually, their self-destructive obsession borders on necrophilia. Jesse Ventura (born James George Janos; July 15, 1951) is an American politician, actor, and retired professional wrestler. After achieving fame in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), he served as the 38th governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003. He was elected governor with the Reform Party and is the party's only candidate to win a major government office. Ventura was a member of the U.S. Navy Underwater Demolition Team during the Vietnam War. Marie McDonald (born Cora Marie Frye, July 6, 1923 – October 21, 1965) was an American singer and actress known as "The Body Beautiful" and later nicknamed "The Body". Joseph Gerard Kopicki (born 12 June 1960) is a former American basketball player. At and , he played the power forward position. Biography Kopicki played basketball at Fitzgerald High School in Warren, Michigan, his hometown. He was named to the First Team Class A All-State squad and selected as Macomb County Player of the Year in 1978. During his career at the University of Detroit, Kopicki tallied 1,410 points and 771 rebounds. Kopicki was drafted in the third round of the 1982 NBA Draft (56th pick overall) by the Atlanta Hawks. However, he was waived by the Hawks on October 19. He signed as a free agent with the Indiana Pacers three days later, but was again waived on October 27 before the start of the season. The Body is an American experimental metal duo that was formed in 1999 in Providence, Rhode Island by guitarist/vocalist Chip King and drummer/programmer Lee Buford. As of 2022, they have released seven solo full length albums as well as fifteen collaborative LPs, nine EP's, four splits, two compilations, two singles, and one collaborative live album. History Drummer Lee Buford started the band with hometown friend Chip King after one year of school at the Museum School in Boston and moving to Manhattan in a four-month stint with Blue Man Group. They released their eponymous first full-length album in 2004.
