The Body (2019 Film)
''The Body'' is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language mystery-thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, produced by Viacom18 Studios and Sunir Kheterpal. The film starring Rishi Kapoor, Emraan Hashmi, Vedhika and Sobhita Dhulipala. It is the official remake of a 2012 Spanish film '' The Body'', which was already remade unofficially as bilingual films in Kannada and Tamil languages as ''Game'' in Kannada and ''Oru Melliya Kodu'' in Tamil (2016 film). The film was released on 13 December 2019. This marked the final film appearance of Kapoor before his death on 30 April 2020. Jeethu Joseph
Jeethu Joseph (born 10 November 1972) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He has also worked in a few Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. Jeethu made his directional debut with the 2007 police procedural, ''Detective''. He is best known for the crime thrillers, ''Drishyam'' and ''Drishyam 2''. ''Drishyam'' became the highest-grossing Malayalam film ever, at its time of release. It was the first Malayalam film to cross the 50 crore mark, at the box office. Shitala Pandey, better known as Sameer Anjaan, is an Indian lyricist, writing songs such as "Mujhe Raat Din Bas", predominantly in Hindi language films.
