''The Bloodsucker Leads the Dance'' ( it, La sanguisuga conduce la danza) is a 1975 Italian film directed by Alfredo Rizzo. Plot In Ireland in 1902, Count Marnak invites a troupe of actors to perform at his island castle. He is stunned by how much Evelyn, the lead actress, resembles his dead wife. They begin an affair, but suddenly, the inhabitants of the castle are turning up decapitated one by one. The count fears that an old family curse is responsible for the grisly slayings. Alfredo Rizzo (2 January 1902 – 6 September 1991) was an Italian actor, screenwriter and director. Life and career Born in Nice, France into a family of actors, Rizzo started his career as an actor of avanspettacolo and revue, often alongside his brother Carlo. After his debut on the big screen in 1939, in the aftermath of the Second World War he had an intense and long film career, being mostly cast in the role of "villain". Lake Bracciano ( it, Lago di Bracciano) is a lake of volcanic origin in the Italian region of Lazio, northwest of Rome. It is the second largest lake in the region (second only to Lake Bolsena) and one of the major lakes of Italy. It has a circular perimeter of approximately . Its inflow is from precipitation runoff and percolation, and from underground springs, and its outflow is the Arrone.
