Sergio Sollima
Sergio Sollima (17 April 1921 – 1 July 2015) was an Italian film director and Screenwriter, script writer. Biography Sollima graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1935. During World War II he was in the Italian Resistance. After the war he gradually progressed from working as a film critic, to screenwriting, to becoming a director Like many Italian Cult following, cult directors, Sollima started his career as a screenwriter in the 1950s and wrote many peplum films in the 1960s. He made his directing debut doing one of the four sequences in the anthology film ''Of Wayward Love''. Sollima filmed three Eurospy films then moved to spaghetti westerns. ''The Big Gundown'' (starring Lee Van Cleef and Tomas Milian) was released in 1966 with big success, despite the fact that it had to compete with Sergio Leone's ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' and Sergio Corbucci's ''Django (1966 film), Django''. Sal Borgese (born 5 March 1937, in Rome) is an Italian film actor. He is sometimes credited as Salvatore Borghese or Mark Trevor. Dagmar Lassander (born as Dagmar Regine Hager on 16 June 1943) is a German actress. Biography In the 1960s, Rigillo attended the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts and began his career on stage playing roles in plays by William Shakespeare, Carlo Goldoni, Bertolt Brecht and Luigi Pirandello, and in those years he met Giuseppe Patroni Griffi with whom he has worked on numerous occasions. François L'Olonnais
Jean-David Nau () (c. 1630 – c. 1669), better known as François l'Olonnais () (also l'Olonnois, Lolonois and Lolona), was a French pirate active in the Caribbean during the 1660s. Early life In his 1684 account ''The History of the Buccaneers of America'', Alexandre Exquemelin notes l'Olonnais' place of birth as Les Sables-d'Olonne, France. He first arrived in the Caribbean as an indentured servant during the 1650s. By 1660 his servitude was complete. He began to wander various islands before arriving in Saint-Domingue – in what is now Haiti – and becoming a buccaneer. He preyed upon shipping from the Spanish West Indies and the Spanish Main. A year or two (dates regarding l'Olonnais are uncertain) into his piratical career, l'Olonnais was shipwrecked near Campeche in Mexico.
