The Best Of Fear Factory
''The Best of Fear Factory'' is a best-of compilation album released on Roadrunner Records, featuring a collection of Fear Factory's music with the label (as such, ''Archetype'' and '' Transgression'' material are not included). The record was released without Fear Factory's involvement (they were signed to Liquid 8 Records at the time of the album's release), so it's unlikely that the album is officially recognized by the band themselves. Songs from ''Concrete'', as well as their various compilation, live and remix albums, are not included. Fear Factory
Fear Factory is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1989. Throughout the band's career, they have released ten full-length albums and have evolved through a succession of sounds, all in their main style of industrial metal. Over the years, Fear Factory has seen frequent changes in its lineup, with lead vocalist Burton C. Bell being the only consistent member for 31 years until his departure in 2020. Other than guitarist Dino Cazares, there are no original members left in its current lineup. The band went on hold in March 2002 following some internal disputes, but resumed activity a year later without founding member Cazares. Previous bassist Christian Olde Wolbers replaced him as the new guitarist, and bassist Byron Stroud joined the band. In April 2009, a new lineup was announced. Cazares returned as guitarist, and Gene Hoglan as drummer. Bell and Stroud reprised their respective roles, and this lineup recorded the band's seventh studio album titled '' Mec ... "Linchpin" is a single by American heavy metal band Fear Factory from their album '' Digimortal''. It peaked at No. 31 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. The ''Linchpin EP'' was released on April 2, 2002 exclusively in Australia. Music video The music video shows shots of machinery and what appears to be a polygraph machine intercut with footage of individual band members playing while at times being surrounded by smoke or doused in a white liquid. A picture of the Vitruvian Man, along with a rendition of Fear Factory's logo can be seen briefly at the end of the video superimposed over lead singer Burton C. Bell. The video was directed by Thomas Mignone. Although the song has a "Radio Edit" version which omits the pre-chorus, the video contains the LP version. Gary Anthony James Webb (born 8 March 1958), known professionally as Gary Numan, is an English musician. He entered the music industry as frontman of the new wave band Tubeway Army. ''Resurrection'' is an EP by the American heavy metal band Fear Factory. It was released on September 14, 1998. Song information "Resurrection" is one of singer Burton C. Bell's favorite Fear Factory songs. It is the ninth and longest track on the 1998 concept album ''Obsolete''. The album version runs 6:35. The song highlights the thoughts of the album's protagonist, the dissident Edgecrusher, as he flees the oppressing forces of Securitron. Having witnessed an act of self-immolation during a protest and the subsequent dispersal of the crowd by armed forces, Edgecrusher flees to a church where he discovers a statue of Jesus, which he touches, giving him the courage to continue his personal mission against the government. Ill Niño
Ill Niño (stylized as ill niño) is an American metal band formed in Union City, New Jersey, in 1998 by drummer and percussionist Dave Chavarri. They have released seven studio albums, two EPs and one compilation album, totaling in over 1.3 million worldwide album sales. History Ill Niño was formed as El Niño by former Pro-Pain drummer David "Dave" Chavarri in May 1998. He enlisted Merauder vocalist Jorge Rosado, guitarist Daniel Gomez and bassist Christian Machado and took on the position of drummer and percussionist himself.
