Muson Center
MUSON Centre (Musical Society of Nigeria) is a performance hall in Lagos. The multipurpose civic auditorium is located in the heart of Lagos Island, situated between the National Museum, the City Mall, the Onikan Stadium and the former official residence of the Nigeria’s Governors-General and adjacent to Tafawa Balewa Square. History The Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) was established in 1983 in the site of the former "Love Garden" (prior to the unveiling the Centre's facilities by Prince Charles in 1995). MUSON was founded as a result of the efforts of some distinguished Nigerians and expatriates to provide facilities for classical music performances in Nigeria, especially in Lagos. Yemi Alade
Yemi Eberechi Alade (born 13 March 1989), is a Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, actress and activist. She won the ''Peak Talent Show'' in 2009 after which she signed to Effyzzie Music Group, and had a hit with her single "Johnny" in 2014. Since then Yemi has gained prominence in the music industry and considered one of the biggest artists in Africa. Oludemilade Martin Alejo (born January 29, 1993), known professionally as Ycee (also stylized as YCee), is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter. He gained popularity after his single "Condo", which features vocals by Patoranking, earned him two nominations at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. Olayiwola Olabanji Kokumo, better known as Koker, is a Nigerian afro-pop singer and songwriter. He currently has a record deal with Chocolate City. Early life Koker was born on 30 may 1993 in Lagos State. He is the second child of his parents. Education He obtained a master's degree in creative arts from the University of Lagos. Olumide Edwards Adegbulu (born September 1976), known by his stage name Olu Maintain (sometimes called Mr. Yahooze), is a Nigerian singer. He co-founded the musical group known as Maintain with his cousin, Tolu Ogunniyi. Adeboye Bammeke, popularly known as Big Bamo, joined the group, which released six albums between 1998 and 2004 with the hit songs "I Catch Cold", "Domitila" and "Alo" before they separated in 2004. Olu rose to prominence in May 2007 with the release of the hit song "Yahooze" which literarily hail internet fraud and lavish spending from his debut studio album, ''Yahooze'' (2007), and a second album, ''Maintain Reloaded'' (2008). Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon (born 6 December 1993), better known by his stage name Reekado Banks, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He signed with Mavin Records in 2014 and left the label in 2018. He went by the stage name Spicy before his record deal with Mavin Records.
