The Bar (professional Wrestling)
The Bar, originally simply known as Cesaro and Sheamus, was a professional wrestling tag team in WWE. They were record-setting four-time Raw Tag Team Champions and one-time SmackDown Tag Team Champions, making their team overall five-time champions in WWE. The duo were originally in a feud together from July to September 2016, but after a Best of Seven series culminated in a tie, the two were forced to work as a team by then-Raw General Manager Mick Foley. "The Bar", originally an informal nickname until they joined SmackDown in 2018, originates from their catchphrase: "We don't just set the bar, we are the bar!" The team was forced to disband in April 2019 due to Sheamus suffering an injury and Cesaro being drafted to Raw. History Feud and formation On the July 19 episode of ''SmackDown Live'', Cesaro and Sheamus were drafted to the Raw brand in the 2016 WWE draft, being the last two televised picks for the brand. League Of Nations (professional Wrestling)
The League of Nations was a mulitnational villainous professional wrestling stable in WWE. It was active from November 2015 to April 2016 and composed of Sheamus from Ireland, King Barrett from England, Rusev from Bulgaria, and Alberto Del Rio from Mexico. The concept of the group came from the idea that all of its members were immigrants to the U.S. and banded together to represent their respective nations while displaying anti-U.S. sentiments. Formed during a time when WWE was attempting to establish Roman Reigns as the face of the company, critics panned the group for being created by the company solely for the purpose of being defeated by Reigns. Former members of the group have since voiced similar criticisms. History At Survivor Series on November 22, 2015, Sheamus won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Roman Reigns. Sheamus then defended the title in a rematch on the November 30 episode of ''Raw'', but the match ...
