The seventh season of ''The Bachelorette Australia'' premiered on Wednesday, 20 October 2021. In a world first, the season features Brooke Blurton, a 26 year old social worker from Melbourne, Victoria, who is the first bisexual Bachelorette in ''The Bachelor'' franchise history, courting 10 men and 10 women. She is also Australia's first Indigenous lead. Brooke Blurton (born 1 January 1995) is an Australian youth worker and media personality. She is best known for being a participant in the reality television franchise '' The Bachelor'', where she was a contestant on the sixth Australian season of '' The Bachelor'' and second Australian season of '' Bachelor in Paradise'', and the franchise's first Indigenous and bisexual lead during the seventh Australian season of the '' The Bachelorette''. Early life Blurton is a Noongar- Yamatji woman who was born and raised in Carnarvon, Western Australia. She was born on 1 January 1995 to an Aboriginal Malaysian mother and an English father.
