''The Aviary'' is a 2005 independent film about the ups and downs in the personal life of a flight attendant, coping with a transfer to a new city, finding a new love, and everything in between. It was written and produced by Abe Levy and Silver Tree, who was a flight attendant herself for many years. The film stars Lara Phillips, Josh Randall, Michael Gilio, and Claire Rankin. Plot Summer Pozzi, a Chicago-based flight attendant for an unnamed airline, is mentally preparing to quit her job and marry Jim, her soon-to-be airline pilot boyfriend. During a layover, she gets a phone call asking her to transfer to San Francisco. Then, Jim tells her he refused to take a final exam to be a pilot, unable to have the lives of many passengers on his shoulders. Shaken and disappointed, Summer decides to go ahead with the transfer, and promises herself not to fall for another man too quickly. The Aviary is a craft cocktail bar in Chicago, Illinois. The bar is part the Alinea Group, in of the same "culinary universe" as Alinea, run by Michelin-starred chef Grant Achatz. The Aviary is known as one of the world's best bars. It is centered around molecular gastronomy, with prominent scientific and culinary influence in its drinks. Attributes and history The bar takes the food world's fine-dining approach into its bar program, with elements of molecular gastronomy, custom glassware and other serviceware, and an evolving seasonal menu, all allowing for unique drinks which have changed how drinks are presented worldwide. The bar also includes a separate room where an "ice chef" prepares custom ice cubes for drinks. The bartenders are treated like chefs, and work in a fenced-in "cocktail kitchen". William Leonard Moore (born October 31, 1943) is an author and former UFO researcher, prominent from the late 1970s to the late 1980s. He co-authored two books with Charles Berlitz, including ''The Roswell Incident''. Career Interested in UFOs since he was a teenager, Moore attended Thiel College, located in Greenville, Pennsylvania graduating in 1965. He taught language and humanities at various high schools. He became Arizona state section director of the Mutual UFO Network and left teaching to pursue a career as a freelance writer. Moore wrote ''The Philadelphia Experiment - Project Invisibility'' with Charles Berlitz in 1979, about an alleged naval military experiment popularly known as the Philadelphia Experiment aboard the USS ''Eldridge'' in 1943.
