The Autumn Effect
''The Autumn Effect'' is the third studio album by the Tennessee alternative metal band 10 Years. Produced by Josh Abraham, released on August 16, 2005 through Universal Records and Republic Records. Featured on the album is the popular modern rock track "Wasteland" and two other singles, "Through the Iris" and "Waking Up". Due to the success of "Wasteland", ''The Autumn Effect'' broke 10 Years into the mainstream and as of December 6, 2017, the album has received a Gold certification from the RIAA. Album information The album peaked at number 72 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200, and made a re-entry into the top 100 of the chart, based on the growing mainstream success of the single "Wasteland". 10 Years (band)
10 Years is an American alternative metal band formed in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, lead guitarist Brian Vodinh, rhythm guitarist Matt Wantland, bassist Chad Grennor, and drummer Luke Narey. The group has gone through multiple line-up changes since their inception, with Vodinh and Wantland being the only remaining founding members. To date, they have released ten studio albums, their most recent being ''Descontructed'' in 2022. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. In music performances, rhythm guitar is a technique and role that performs a combination of two functions: to provide all or part of the rhythmic pulse in conjunction with other instruments from the rhythm section (e.g., drum kit, bass guitar); and to provide all or part of the harmony, i.e. the chords from a song's chord progression, where a chord is a group of notes played together. Incubus is an American Rock music, rock band from Calabasas, California. Deftones is an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California in 1988. They were formed by Chino Moreno (vocals, guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums), and Dominic Garcia (bass). During their first five years, the band's lineup changed several times, but stabilized in 1993 when Cunningham rejoined after his departure in 1990; by this time, Chi Cheng was bassist.
