''The Assistant'' is a 2019 American drama film written, directed, produced, and edited by Kitty Green. The film stars Julia Garner as a junior assistant at a film production company. Campus sexual assault is the sexual assault, including rape, of a student while attending an institution of higher learning, such as a college or university.
