Fred Goodwins
Fred Goodwins (26 February 1891 – April 1923) was an English actor, film director and screenwriter of the silent era. He appeared in 24 films between 1915 and 1921.He most notably worked with Charlie Chaplin during Chaplin's mutual period, and wrote a series of articles detailing the production process of the period which were published in the magazine Red letter in 1916, and later compiled in a book titled "Charlie Chaplin's red letter days". David Falcke

Eliot Stannard
Eliot Stannard (1 March 1888 – 21 November 1944) was an English screenwriter and director. He was the son of civil engineer Arthur Stannard and Yorkshire-born novelist Henrietta Eliza Vaughan Palmer. Stannard wrote the screenplay for more than 80 films between 1914 and 1933, including eight films directed by Alfred Hitchcock. He also directed five films. During the early 1920s, he worked on most of the screenplays for the Ideal Film Company, one of Britain's leading silent film studios. Lewis Willoughby
Louis Willoughby (10 July 1876 – 12 September 1968) was an English actor of the silent era. Born in England, he was married to artist Vera Willoughby and the father of artist Althea Willoughby. He lived his final years in the United States, where he died in Clearwater, Florida. Margot Kelly
Margaret Elizabeth "Margot" Kelly born Margaret Elizabeth Emerson (15 March 1894 – 25 September 1983) was an Australian hotel manager and restaurateur. For over twenty years she had the Hibiscus Room in Surfers Paradise in Queensland. Life Kelly was born in 1894 in the Brisbane suburb of Enoggera. She became an apprentice dressmaker and opened her own clothing boutique. She turned her skills to looking after people after she married the manager of the Charleville Hotel. She and Edward Kelly lived at the hotel in Charleville, Queensland. On 3 February 1931 she lost all of her belongings when fire broke out in the hotel. She was able to get the cash and to drive out her husband's Fiat from its garage but she could not return to their room because of the fire. An inquest was held in the following month. Daisy Burrell (born Daisy Isobel Eaglesfield Ratton; 16 June 1892 – 10 June 1982) was a British stage actress and Edwardian musical comedy performer who also appeared as a leading lady in silent films and in pantomime. Silent Film
A silent film is a film with no synchronized recorded sound (or more generally, no audible dialogue). Though silent films convey narrative and emotion visually, various plot elements (such as a setting or era) or key lines of dialogue may, when necessary, be conveyed by the use of title cards. The term "silent film" is something of a misnomer, as these films were almost always accompanied by live sounds. During the silent era that existed from the mid-1890s to the late 1920s, a pianist, theater organist—or even, in large cities, a small orchestra—would often play music to accompany the films. Pianists and organists would play either from sheet music, or improvisation. Sometimes a person would even narrate the inter-title cards for the audience. Though at the time the technology to synchronize sound with the film did not exist, music was seen as an essential part of the viewing experience.
