The Art Of McCartney
''The Art of McCartney'' is a tribute album to English musician Paul McCartney, released on November 18, 2014. The 42-song set covers McCartney's solo work, and his work with the Beatles and Wings, and features a wide range of artists such as Barry Gibb, Brian Wilson, the Cure, B.B. King, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Alice Cooper, Smokey Robinson, and Kiss. According to producer Ralph Sall, the project took 11 years to complete. Background Sall originally came up with the project in 2003 when he worked with McCartney on reviving the song "A Love for You" from McCartney's sessions for the 1971 album, ''Ram'', for the '' In-Laws'' soundtrack. Rusty Anderson
Rusty Anderson is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter who is best known for his work as the lead guitarist for Paul McCartney's touring band though he has worked with an extensive list of artists in addition to his own solo career. Career Anderson became a professional musician at age 14 with his first band, Eulogy. Eulogy won a sizeable local following in Los Angeles, playing with bands such as The Police, Van Halen, The Runaways, Quiet Riot, Rick Derringer, Eddie Money and The Motels. Later, Anderson formed The Living Daylights, which shared the stage with Fishbone and OMD. The Living Daylights was a psychedelic/ progressive rock band and Anderson's first as primary songwriter. Alan Aldridge (8 July 1938 – 17 February 2017) was a British artist, graphic designer and illustrator. He is best known for his psychedelic artwork made for books and record covers by The Beatles and The Who. Personal life Aldridge was born in North London and lived in Los Angeles, California.
