The Amazing Live Sea Monkeys
''The Amazing Live Sea Monkeys'' is a live action television series that aired for eleven episodes from September 19 to November 28, 1992. It focuses on three microscopic Sea-Monkeys — Dave (Rob LaBelle), Bill ( Peter Pitofsky) and Aquarius (Sean Whalen) — who have been enlarged to human size by their benefactor, the Professor ( Howie Mandel). Special guests include Stephen Furst, Gilbert Gottfried, Larry Melman, and Vernon Wells. Creation The concept of the show derived from the Sea Monkeys product, created in 1957 by Harold von Braunhut and marketed in the 1970s with a series of comic book ads designed and illustrated by Joe Orlando, later Vice President of DC Comics and Associate Publisher of '' Mad''. Howie Mandel
Howard Michael Mandel (born November 29, 1955) is a Canadian-American comedian, television personality, actor, and producer. Mandel voiced the character Gizmo in the 1984 film ''Gremlins'' and the 1990 sequel '' Gremlins 2: The New Batch''. In 1987, Mandel starred alongside Amy Steel in the comedy film '' Walk Like a Man''. From 1982 to 1988, Mandel played the rowdy ER intern Dr. Wayne Fiscus on the NBC medical drama '' St. Elsewhere''. He also created, voiced and starred in the FOX children's cartoon '' Bobby's World''. ''Artemia'' is a genus of aquatic crustaceans also known as brine shrimp. It is the only genus in the family Artemiidae. The first historical record of the existence of ''Artemia'' dates back to the first half of the 10th century AD from Urmia Lake, Iran, with an example called by an Iranian geographer an "aquatic dog," although the first unambiguous record is the report and drawings made by Schlösser in 1757 of animals from Lymington, England. YTV (TV Channel)
YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers; its name was originally thought to be an abbreviation for "Youth Television", though the channel's website has denied this. The channel was launched on September 1, 1988 by owners Rogers Media and CUC Broadcasting upon launch. ''Beakman's World'' is an American educational children's television program. The program is based on the Universal Press Syndicate syndicated comic strip ''You Can with Beakman and Jax'' created by Jok Church. The series premiered on Wednesday, September 16, 1992, on TLC, and on various other channels a few days later through syndication on 220 other channels. On September 18, 1993, it moved from national syndication to CBS's Saturday morning children's lineup. At the peak of its popularity, it was seen in nearly ninety countries around the world. The series was canceled in 1998. Reruns returned to national syndication in September 2006, after which it was transferred to local stations such as KICU. The Chiodo Brothers (Stephen, Charles & Edward Chiodo; ; born in Bronx, New York) are an American trio of sibling special effects artists, specializing in clay modeling, creature creation, stop motion and animatronics.
