The Symbol Remains
''The Symbol Remains'' is the fifteenth studio album by American rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released on October 9, 2020. The title comes from a lyric in the song "Shadow of California" on Blue Öyster Cult's 1983 LP ''The Revölution by Night''. This is the band's first studio release since 2001's ''Curse of the Hidden Mirror'', making it the longest gap between the band's studio albums. It also marks the recording debut by long-time members Jules Radino and Richie Castellano, as well as the first studio album since 1985's '' Club Ninja'' to not feature Allen Lanier, who died in 2013. Background The lack of sales of the band's previous studio album, ''Curse of the Hidden Mirror'' (2001), contributed to the band's disinterest in recording new music. In a strange comment concerning the band's artistry (or lack of it), frontman Eric Bloom noted in 2017 that "it costs money to make a record", and that the time spent producing an album would be better spent touring "than making ...

The Chemical Wedding (Bruce Dickinson Album)
''The Chemical Wedding'' is the fifth solo album by English heavy metal singer Bruce Dickinson, released on 15 September 1998 through Dickinson's own label Air Raid Records. The record draws some inspiration from the works of William Blake, featuring sung and spoken excerpts of his prophetic works and poetry (notably " And did those feet in ancient time" on the track "Jerusalem"), and with cover art from his painting '' The Ghost of a Flea'', although the name of the album and its title track derive from the Rosicrucian manifesto the ''Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz''. As with the previous album, it featured Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith, then a member of Dickinson's solo outfit. This is the last Dickinson's album before he and Adrian Smith rejoined Iron Maiden the following year. The film, '' Chemical Wedding'', with a screenplay by Dickinson, was released in May 2008. It features the title track from the album on its soundtrack, but concerns a story about the ...

The Alchemist (Handel)
''The Alchemist'', HWV 43, is incidental music used for the revival of Ben Jonson's play ''The Alchemist'' at the Queen's Theatre, London on 14 January 1710. The work is an arrangement, by an anonymous composer, of music written by George Frideric Handel. All but one of the movements were taken from the extended overture to Handel's first Italian opera ''Rodrigo''. The overture introduced the play and the other movements were used to fill the gaps between acts. The incidental music was published in full a few months after the first performance; however, it is unlikely that Handel received any payment for either the performance or publication of the music. It is likely that the work was the first of Handel's music to be performed in England. A typical performance takes almost 15 minutes. Movements The work has the following movements Movement may refer to: Common uses * Movement (clockwork), the internal mechanism of a timepiece * Motion, commonly referred to as move ...
